Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is “Sure Would Be a Shame”?

A chaotic sabotage card game where the only thing more fun than winning... is ruining your friends' chances of doing so.

2. How many players can join?

2 to 8 players but the more players, the more drama. Perfect for parties, friend groups, or sworn enemies.

3. How long does a game take?

Roughly 30 to 90 minutes. Or longer, depending on how many grudges people bring to the table.

4. What age group is this for?

Officially 12+, unofficially: “Depends on your family.” There's no foul language or inappropriate content, just chaos, sabotage, and a whole lot of dramatic yelling.

5. Is it family-friendly?

Define "friendly." You can technically play it with your family. But only if they can handle being sabotaged by Grandma.

6. How do I support you?

Back us on Kickstarter to bring chaos to life. Your support helps us print, ship, and sabotage at scale.

7. What’s in the box?

200 cards, one set of rules, zero mercy. Designed to spark betrayal, table-slaps, and unforgettable nights.

8. Is there an expansion?

Not yet. But if you keep playing (and yelling), we’ll make one. Promise.

9. How easy is it to learn the game?

So easy even your uncle who never pays attention can pick it up in minutes.

10. Can two people really play it?

Absolutely. But be prepared it gets intense when there’s nowhere to hide your sabotage.

11. Can I mix decks with other games?

We admire your chaos, but the game is best enjoyed solo. Mixing cards could tear a hole in the universe.

12. Are expansions standalone or do I need the original game?

Future expansions will require the original set so guard your base game with your life.

13. Is there a team mode?

Yep! Split into teams and watch friendships dissolve in real-time.

14. What if the box arrives damaged?

No drama required just contact our support and we’ll make it right.

15. Do you ship internationally?

If you’re plotting sabotage overseas… hold that thought. For now, we only ship within the United States. But international shipping is coming soon, so stay chaotic and stay tuned.

16. Can I submit my own ideas for new cards?

We love a good plot twist. Feel free to send ideas we might just steal them (with credit, of course).

17. Is this game good for parties?

It was practically invented to turn boring gatherings into chaos-infused legendary nights.

18. Do I need extra materials to play?

Only the willingness to betray your friends. (But seriously, no extra materials required.)

19. Is the game replayable?

Endlessly. Every round is unique, depending on who’s holding a grudge.

20. What's your return policy?

We guarantee laughter and chaos, but if something’s wrong, let us know. Our support won’t sabotage you.

21. What’s Your Shipping Policy?

We do charge for shipping because we’re a small team running a small (but mighty) business. That said, we’ve worked out a deal to get you the lowest shipping rates possible, without compromising speed or reliability. Your game will arrive safely… and affordably.
